# Error message list

#### **IP address is not authorized**

```
"err": "IP is not authorized to access, please contact our business staff."
```

For possible causes and solutions, refer to:

* [IP authorization instructions](https://www.thesports.com/helpcenter/-1/23)

***

#### **Unauthorized API endpoint**

```
"err": "Unauthorized access, please contact our business staff."
```

or

```
"err": "URL is not authorized to access, please contact our business staff."
```

Possible causes:

1. The API endpoint URL is incorrect. For example, the correct URL is `/v1/tennis/team/list`, but the request uses `/v1/tennis/team/detail`, which is not an API endpoint provided by TheSports.
2. The API endpoint is not enabled for your account. Contact our business staff for assistance.

***

#### **Request exceeds account permissions**

```
"code": 405,
"msg": "Beyond the scope of account permissions."
```

Possible causes:

1. The request exceeds the specified request limit.
2. The request uses the wrong type of id. For example, the **Schedule and Results-season query(newest season)** API endpoint requires a `season id`, but the request uses a `competition id`.

***

#### **Invalid `uuid` parameter**

```
"code": 100003,
"msg": "Invalid parameter 'uuid' value."
```

Possible causes:

The `uuid` belongs to a different sport. For example, a basketball id is used to request a football API endpoint.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.thesports.com/help-center/first-integration/error-message-list.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
